Is this invoice generator really free?

Why do I need an account to download?
So your invoice doesn’t disappear. With a free account the invoice, your client and your business details are saved in Bilio as a draft, and your next invoice gets the next number. Everything stays in this browser until you sign up.
What does a valid invoice need?
Your name and address, your VAT number (and in the Netherlands your KvK number), your client’s name and address, a unique invoice number, the date, what you did, the amounts with VAT per rate, and the total. For an EU business client with a VAT number, add their VAT number and the reverse-charge line. Our guide to invoicing as a freelancer goes through it.
Can I remove the “Made with Bilio” line?
Not on the free generator. Inside Bilio your invoices carry only your own branding, in nine designs, with your logo, colour and font. The Starter plan is free, with no caps on invoices or clients.
Does it work for VAT, btw, USt, IVA or TVA?
Yes. Set the VAT rate per line, or choose reverse charge, a client outside the EU, the Dutch KOR, the German § 19 UStG or not VAT-registered, and the invoice prints the line the law asks for.
Is my data safe?
Until you sign up, what you type never leaves your browser. When you create an account it is saved in Bilio, which runs in the EU: data on Google Cloud in Belgium and the Netherlands. Read the privacy policy.
