I am Stefka Ivanova. I run a marketing studio from Amsterdam as a zzp’er, with clients in the Netherlands, Finland and France. Half my invoices carry 21% btw and half carry a reverse-charge line, and I file a btw-aangifte every quarter like a million other Dutch freelancers.
In 2025 I looked for a tool that did that without capping the free plan at three invoices, without charging EUR 29 a month for a bank link, and without pretending my Finnish client was a problem. I did not find one, so I built it, and I have run my studio on Bilio since July 2025. Every invoice I send goes through the same code you use.

How it is built
One founder, part-time, with AI doing the typing and a code review before anything touches your money. Hosted in the EU on Google Cloud. Per-company access rules, encrypted in transit and at rest. The roadmap is public on the product page and updated monthly; if a feature says November, that is the month it ships or the page changes.
Where it is going
Invoicing that works across borders: VAT numbers checked, reverse charge written for you, Peppol for Belgium and Germany, and an assistant you can ask to draft the invoice. Netherlands first, then Belgium and Bulgaria, then Germany.
